Biography
Apostle Doris Brown is the Senior Leader of Walk In Righteous Living Ministries, located in Waterbury, CT as well as a delighted mother to seven beautiful children. She has served well in various capacities in Ministry and was formerly under the tutelage of the late Overseer Bessie Hardy of Greater Emmanuel Church in Stamford, CT.
As she takes the gospel beyond the walls to impact the community, Apostle births “Drive Bye Babies,” an outreach to aid families with necessities for their infants, “Mother’s Unified In Prayer” – which is birthed globally to intercede in prayer on behalf of all children, by the power of God taking our streets and our communities back by force. On July 20th, 2021, Apostle Brown received her Doctoral degree in Biblical Studies at New England Theological Consortium. She is an alum of The Faith Theology Seminary School of Ministry and holds the position of a professor, while currently being an active member of The Letterman’s Club to provide support to the communities. Apostle also continues to provide food and clothing for the communities who are less fortunate.
With the passion for training and development of leaders, she instituted the Ministers of Honor Conference in her previous years of ministry. After the opening of Walk in Righteous Living Ministries, she then felt compelled to open W.I.R.L. Ministries Bible Institute. She also humbly holds a Chaplin’s license, presented to her after graduating from Heart Bible Institute University or HBIU in 2021.
Apostle being gifted in numerous ways, she is an Author in “Outlive the Labels,” Best Seller Volume I & II. She was blessed to be a producer, composes her own music, writes poetry and has written various plays, one being “Where is My Name at Lord?” which traveled to multiple edifices. She was a co-host of “Warriors on the Frontline” with the Host Apostle Veryl Howard, interviewing many celebrities and interceding on their behalf.
Apostle's love for souls is genuine, she endeavors to win innumerable souls to Christ that God might be Glorified! Her aim is to consistently live in the presence of God as she steadfastly embraces the Word of the Lord that was given to her: “The Lord will fortify her, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against the works He has charged her to accomplish.”
Her motto is: But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20:24
